DPSExtreme

Description

DPS Extreme!
Ever wondered who dealt the most damage to a boss? Ever felt the need to track your Damage Per Second in relation to your friends? Have you ever wanted sweet, sweet looking meters to show off how much your character dominates bosses? Well, you are in luck, as DPSExtreme is now available for use.

DPSExtreme provides a combat stats meter for use in both multiplayer and singleplayer.
While fighting, you can see various live stats and compare to your teammates.

Compete with your friends to see who can deal the most damage to bosses as you fight them. For added fun, try challenging bosses with the same weapon and see who can get the most damage in.

How to Use
By default the DPSExtreme window is not visible.
If you wish to toggle the visibility you can either type /teamdps in chat, go into the Keybindings menu and assign a hotkey, or click the toggle in the toggles to the left of the inventory.

You (and your friends) also need to have purchased a DPS Meter from the Traveling Merchant.

Click the arrow in the top left to select what stat to display, or click on the text to cycle between them. (Right click cycles backwards)
Click on entries in the list to dive deeper into a breakdown. Here you can see for example what items a player used to deal the damage etc. (Right click to back out)

Once a boss is defeated or an event is completed, a chat message will also report final damage dealt stats.

Features
Tracked stats are:
Damage per second, Damage dealt, Damage taken, Deaths, Kills, Mana Used, (De)buff uptimes, Minion damage done (per minion slot) and enemy damage taken

Here we can see that damage from Traps, Friendly NPCs and debuff DOTs are also accounted for.

Hovering over an entry also brings up a small popup with additional info related to the stat such as hit count, max hit, crit % and average hit damage.

Browse through past combats, or have a look at "All combats" to see who has done the best overall!

Here we see DPSExtreme in action.

Limitations
Debuff DOT tracking in singleplayer is not 100% accurate. The best DPSExtreme can offer is a best-guess estimate based on how quickly enemies are losing health.

Planned Features:
  • Track damage by team
  • Track enemy debuff uptimes
  • Track enemy damage dealt
  • Open to Feedback and Suggestions, come to discord or github to suggest

Can you allow users to resize the window independent of UI Scale?

i should add it just shows the debuff dot damage and not mine or my friends damage

for some reason it keeps not showing the stats after beating a boss, doing it seemingly randomly. any idea why?

Added an option to bypass DPS Meter requirement.
Added an option to change the UI background transparency
Added an option to choose a default visibility for the UI
Added a button to "lock" the view to a specific combat so it doesn't automatically navigate away while you are looking at stats.
Added a "builders toggle" as another option to toggle the UI. That means there is a button where the Ruler and Wire visibility toggles are located to the left of the inventory.
Added a close button to UI.

Thanks for all the suggestions and thanks to those on Github making pull requests with new features.

Love this mod, however is there anyway to change the background to an 60% transparency or something, the background wont let me see stuff.

Can you add a config setting to remove the DPS meter requirement

Unfortunately, this mod loads the game very heavily. It sends 10 times more packets than calamity on the server.

Hey everyone, this mod just received a HUGE update. The update adds features such as a combat history, 8 new stats to track (such as deaths, kills, per enemy damage taken), a way to broadcast specific stat results on demand, per weapon damage info (hit count, average damage, total damage), and more. The workshop description above has been updated with videos and images that show these new features.

This huge update was worked on over several months by Hankan on our Discord, a huge thank you goes out to the massive amount of work they put into these new features.

If there are any suggestions or issues that come up, the best place is Discord where you can talk directly to me or Hankan, but I'll keep an eye out here as well.

Also, this update added a lot of text that can be localized, if anyone wants to help translate this mod to their language please reach out.

Chill out... he was just unaware of the workshop comments for a week, as soon as I opened up the first github issue mentioning the problem it got promptly addressed. Yeah it would have been better if the devs took a look at the comments by themselves but it's not like that would notify them, there's no need to be that negative. The 0.4 update brought some nice improvement for the mod and now we can enjoy it without any bugs.

i guess this is one of those "i refuse to read steam comments" types
