An Intro For The Intro - Before You Do ANYTHING


If you're interested in downloading this game or if you've already done that, read this guide before you run off to fight Quincies, progressing further with this guide (Or wanting to SHRIMP really hard). There's some things that you need to know, like the optional official third-party launcher for account binding.

Intro - From A Sprout To Another Sprout

So, here's a "few" tips that I learned along the way.

Here's some things that ya need before you run wild:

  • KLab ID (I encourage multi-sync)
  • Mobile Phone/Tablet (Whatever you're comfortable with. I encourage this, Steam ain't enough for what I'm gonna show ya.)
  • Microsoft Word (and whatever cousins/rivals that it has you are used to using), ya need this to keep track of important details.

Now the difference between me the Noob-ish vet and the Young Sprout(s) are that they:

Young Sprouts

Have a sapling icon next to this info name bar.



This ye olde version of my account is perfect for the Young Sprouts conditions.

If a Young Sprout comes in to any game modes, like any of the Co-Op quests, epic raids, and you win with him. You'll get points, the Assist Points, supplies/goodies to level up your Summons/Characters, and even summoning tickets.

This special icon will disappear after reaching rank 50.

Cannot earn Assist Points, until, they evolve.

Higher Rank Noobs/Vets

Can earn Assist Points by teaming up.

Can enter into more lobbies with special qualities/get better matched with equals.

Has wall issues.

Doesn't have the "Sprout Badge".

To any newcomers, please, be aware that you'll sometimes be kick out or cause the whole lobby to close. Despite having the proper conditions, pets/familiars and such. It's mainly due to the host either doesn't recognize your genius, you don't know that you're ill prepared despite having a good Summon/Character, and such. Don't feel bad, the same even happens to higher rank noobs and veteran gamers. Which is why there's a joke/meme stating that the "Bleach: Brave Souls community can't read."

If this happens, create your own lobby (Wish ya luck in doing this and that you don't have my "Among Us curse."*)

Coyote Starrk



Some of those with the "Sapling Badge" badge are actually Noob-ish Vets/ long time game vets, but for whatever reason, they didn't do the challenge modes to upgrade their ranks, they're just as lazy as Starrk and gotten distracted by cooler activities or hit a gaming road block.

* My "Among Us curse" is mainly no one joins when I create a lobby, even when I attempt to create "proper" conditions. I this phrase is now outdated.

Around The World, Around The World

When it comes to languages and any forms of multiplayer, pick " Global ". There's more people in global and better pings.

SHRIMP, SHRIMP


"Anniversary, what anniversary?"

Just like with other gacha games try to control your SIMP-ing. Breathe in, breathe out, and say "My waifu/husbando will return in a ticket/re-run banner.", "KLab will have her/him in a character pack eventually, like they did with the Parasol Szayelappro. He returned." Or "He/she will return as a filler." This is just an Orb issue (Uncontrollable SIMP-ing will result in lack of Orbs).

Please try to do these breathing exercises around the game's anniversary, since KLab will also have swimsuit banners during that time. (The game's anniversary has Characters that are stronger and reportedly better than usual, which is why gamers save Orbs or die trying).

Or just join the official BBS Discord, so, you can vote your waifu/husbando in a poll. KLab holds polls regularly. That will increase their chances of returning.

Good Hullfepuff, She Took The Rest,...



Like the Hogwarts founder, Helga Hufflepuff. This game will give a bit of spotlight on Bleach characters that only has a 5 person fanclub, characters that you forgotten exist that they exist or in the worst case scenario, Kubo probably forgotten about. Some examples are Akon from Squad 12, Keigo, Iba and Chizuru. (Except for the Bount Arc).

Number One



The one phrase that I usually say in these BBS guides are "Expanded Lore Character sporadically shows up./Doesn't show up. 'Cause licensing." Well, you will never hear some of the epic soundtracks that made the anime legendary for the exact same reasons. The game may not have "Carva La Espada", "Number One,", "Invasion" and "Quincy's Craft." But they have some good tunes, like the "Love's Greeting (White Day Remix)" and " Resounding Pride (7th Anniversary Theme Song)."

This prayer book is just for desperate measures that doesn't involve borrowing money from the Yakuza (and other similar groups for that matter).

Mirror, Tell Me Something



The neighborhood modes have mirrors in some areas, ya can use them to see around the corner. (This doesn't work in multiplayer modes, like Arena or PVP).


Froslass Syndrome



The game has what I call the "Frolass Syndrome" style censorship, mainly you can't name your multiplayer lobbies, save/load mode and gamertags with innocent and appropriate words. The game deems them as inappropriate. It's a bit "overkill" and doesn't make sense, similar to how one can't re-type the Ice/Ghost type Pokemon's actual name for Pokemon's former Global Trade System/Wonder Trading (i.e. "Frosslass."). They, KLab, also want things to be appropriate. So, get creative, if ya want to "bypass" things.

A Rose By Any Other Name



When it comes to gamertags, it's tricky to use a gamertag that's name after a Bleach character. Since only x number of people can have those names. Ya have to get creative, if ya want to use your waifu/husbando's name.

Re;Connect

Well, I dunno if it's bad on my end or they have wi-fi problems. All I know is that "Epic Raid" and "Solo" are a bad combo for me.*

Depending on several factors, the game SERIOUSLY can't run without Wi-Fi. You can't play, update, and even go to "single player" mode. So, you need to be in a good area, good connection and meet the requirements.

Your phone is suppose to work, it's suppose to be "Bleach Go". So, in case your computer gets knocked out for whatever reason, you can continue to play were you left off. Unless, your wi-fi connection or that cafe's wi-fi is getting chewed up by some Hollow.

Friendlist



You can only have up to 200 friends in your friendlist. Also, this is separated from your Steam friendlist and those in your guild.

* I mainly play the heavy game modes, like Epic Raid and Co-Op, on the PC.

Fun



Since you're starting out, get and play with characters that you like/SIMP for and worry about things, like the meta and those other forms of advance playing later. This tip is mainly for those that are planning to go full meta.

I Don't Wanna Grow Up



Whatever ya do, don't be too quick to finish the Kon Challenges, because when ya reach Level 50, everything will be "over". You'll lose your badge and "almost everything", like certain privileges (like others being "nice" to you). Be like these fanservice dudes when it comes to those challenges and try to hold onto your "Young Sprout" hat as long as you can.

Please be aware that there's also the factor of after 60 login days, your badge will be removed and this will come "out of nowhere." This is a merely a "Which ever comes first." Bias.

Old Timers

Some of the Sprouts have been playing this game for a long while, since their ranks are at Level 50. This makes them worthy of the "Welcome Back Bonus."

Long Reach


Another guide explains on how to sync your BBS Steam game to your mobile game.

Download the mobile app and sync the Steam version of your game with the mobile version. It's mainly to turn the phone version into a companion app to gather more Orbs. Since, Orbs are a limited resource and you need more avenues to obtain them right after you maxed out the whole story, the side stories, the Raid Cards, your whole album (until the next new Summons) and whatnot. But since you're new, this is mainly for to get enough Orbs quickly for the next banner.

Sussy Bakas


These guys are tricky to detect and you won't know, if you're playing with one, until it's too late. They will get ya banned and then you'll have to do a very long and tedious method of contacting KLab's tech support and proving your innocence. (They take a very long while to answer, but they will come).

If you see a "sussy baka"/actual modder, just take a screenshot and report to KLab.

One of the few ways to avoid modders are:

  • Don't ever join any lobbies in Epic Raid/Epic Raid: Awaken and Co-Op that says things, like (Be aware that they don't always place those).
  • Be cautious about the higher and difficult levels, like Epic Raid's Ultimate, these are the ones where modders usually cheat at. They don't do the easy modes.
  • Only go with your guild mates and friends, while playing Arena.
  • Do single player mode mainly, there's no body there, except your friendlist (Unless, you make the settings to go lone wolf).
  • Host your own lobbies
    - This may be the harshest advice, but it's also a life saver. You can control your lobby.
  • Create a one man guild.
  • Join trusted guilds, like the ones that the r/BleachBraveSouls subreddit recommends. Here. (This will be outdated and replaced by a newer list, this is mainly for example purposes).

Watching The Anime

This list will only feature the fillers, so, you'll know which ones to skip.

Note: Most of the fillers of Bleach are decent and/or outright awesome, except for the Bount Arc. Ironically, there's some of the Bleach fans want Bount arc Units, down to Epic Raid pets.
Friendlists
Despite that this is properly not suited for this guide, this is here to find your friends. Which I see is probably a first things you should do after installing and linking. Mainly so that ya can add people that ya already know quickly.

So, go to the lower right corner of the screen and click on the Kon holding the heart icon. This will open up the friend list.

The reason why ya need friends, whether it's those in your Steam friendlist, those nice guys that helped you in Epic Raid, or your Mom and her quilting army (who are also playing this game). Ya need the Friend Points to spend in Kon's Corner, activate a xp boost timer before beginning a quest and . To name a few.

The Remove button is for to you to remove friends for reasons, like if they're inactive/ haven't log in for 65 million years or they harassed ya.

The More button lets ya view their gamer profile.

Note: The friendlist has a cap, like you can only have 200 friends.

Though it goes more, it also shows how to prepare for some of the harder game modes, like Senkaimon, Epic Raid, and other stuff that I can't imagine (Since, by the time of posting this guide). Like what Characters, Accessories, and so forth that can be use to win. Once you figure out how to work this resource encyclopedia, you'll "unlock" it's full potential.

Lore Issues

Now the Bleach Wikia doesn't like the expanded lore, despite that Tite Kubo was backseat driving the authors of these novels and these are canon. (I just use the wiki as an art reference resource).

We Do Knot Always Love Ya

Some of the ways to get your hands on the novels and short stories is to buy from the Shonen Jump manga app. Besides the "normal" sources, like Barnes And Noble, Amazon, and Books A Million.
