Intro

Guy didn't hire our indestructible god, because said god flex him out of his captain-commander seat.

Despite the meme, there's a few reasons why it's a good idea to take Brave Battles seriously (There's also the fact that Hanataro can brutally murder ya, but since he's a good boy, he mostly holds back).

Warning: This game mode is insanely meta heavy.

Note: Help me correct any misinformation/incorrect information, incorrect grammar and other things. Thanks in advance.

Don't Forget To:

Being A Seated Officer

There's some game modes, like the Co-Op's Extreme Co-Op, that are dependent on how high your seat is in Brave Battles. Anything lower, you won't be able to enter or these modes won't appear for you.

Note: Anything lower than 7th Seat, like 8th seat, will result with playing with weak bots. Not humans that set up their Summons to pit against yours. In other words, straight up boring.

Perks

Blah, blah, I now can get away with stuff. Despite fluctuating back and forth between 7th and 6th seat.

There's weekly rewards when Brave Battles reset. The higher up the ranks, like Lieutenant or Captain, the bigger and better the rewards are. (But, I am showing ya how to "Aim For 6th." And stay there. You'll still get all of these rank rewards in a basic cushion way).

Perks - Extreme Co-Op

Being in 7th Seat* and above will result with bigger and better rewards, plus, a special yet different game mode that's available.

* Due to the update, being on 7th Seat is now like being in 3rd seat.

Brave Battles Map

These menus are where you'll do all of the preparations and "This is Sparta".

1st Menu

Rewards

The Rewards will show you what types of rewards that you'll receive at the end of the week/reset time.

Exchange

The Exchange will take you straight to the Exchange Shop, where ya can spend the Brave Battle tokens.

Ranking

The Ranking button takes you to see where your current rank is.

This is my current rank by the time this guide is posted.

Prepare For Battle

The Prepare For Battle will take you to the secondary menu, where the fun begins.

Second Menu

Summon Slot

The Slot is where ya can pick which characters, Character Links and Accessories, all that jazz that you're gonna use for battle.

Strategy

Click here to change the Strategy, the objectives are what your team will do once they start duking it out.

Strategy Buttons

Attribute - Target foes with Attribute disadvantages. FCS +30%
ATK/Attack - Prioritize Strong Attacks. SP +30%
Special - Prioritize gathering Soul Bombs. FCS +10%

Selection

The Selection is where you can pick which group to fight against.

Refresh

This is the ONLY mode where ya need to pay to refresh.

The refresh button is where ya can change things. If ya don't like the current foe lineup or you're searching for weaklings to exert your dominance.

Ranking Bar

This rank shows your status, the purple means that you're getting demoted, green is the safe zone and the red means that you're about to get to the next rank.

Be aware that there's others that are also gunning for your rank/striving to go beyond. So, ya stiff competition, even though ya just want to remain in stationary.

Set Up

This is the wonky team that keeps me in 7th and 6th seat.

You need a team that's similar* to and/or better than this, so, you can keep your seat or ascend beyond. They also require maxed out Accessories, like a level 5 Chappy with a second ability.

Besides the Ascending parts, you need to gather a ton of potions, super link potions, droplets, and jewels. Farming Summons, nickname Pots, will assist with the gathering.

Besides the PokeGems, there's scrolls that needs to be gathered to fine tune your Summon. Besides Epic Raid and co-op, Arena, and the Difficult Quests provides them. For these single player modes, these characters are needed, if you can't bother leveling up your wifu to read. Since the foes have dodge ability.

Bonus Abilities

Once you get your selected unit to 15/15/15 (or 20/20/20), give him special bonus abilities that will make him shine and dominate Brave Battles, like Dodge, Pierce Barrier or Low Stamina Damage Boost.

Ascending

Semi-bad example, but the point still stands.

Your team can be stronger than mine, if ya have a dupe of them to unlock the Orb Set abilities.

They also need to be in a good transcendence mode, like 20/20/20. So, they can be strong.

Notes

Since this is this is meta heavy, you need to watch some guy's tier list, like Aaroniero, just to see what change or if things will stay the same for ya.

Also, if you have enough well-built team of Summons that gets the job done and to the point that ya end up in the Captain-Commander seat. Ya don't need the latest Summon, unless, you're a die hard collector/SIMP.

* I don't mean use your Orbs and tickets to find the exact same team. A good team that consists of Units that ya like and prepared are enough to get by and to have similar skills, like one Unit boosts the others, the other attacks and such.

The Loser That Wins

Slightly off topic, don't worry about losing. Since, it will mean that you'll get a Soul Ticket to gather supplies to make your team stronger for the next battles.
