Description
The guerrillas seized an important AAF artillery position. Your task is to regain this position.
FIA guerrillas have taken an AAF artillery position and are trying to steal two MLRS launchers. Join an AAF infantry squad to seize stolen launchers.

This mission is one of my Straightforward Infantry Assaults™ with a little extra at the end. You join the AAF team (as NATO Advisor Lt. Bennet in SP or as one of the AAF soldiers in COOP) and clear enemy controlled positions. You begin with a helicopter insertion and move under cover of smoke artillery to first objective and then just clear them one by one.




NO MODS OR DLC REQUIERED.
FOR WESTERN SAHARA REQUIREMENT COMPATIBILITY DATA SHOULD DO FINE.

Procedural generation is used in the mission to make it fresh and interesting on every playthrough.

Direction of your assault, enemy gear and their spawn positions as well as exact time of day and positions of mortars at the end are all subject to randomization.




COOP mode is available for up to 8 players.

This is a short mission takes between 10 - 15 minutes to complete.

Sorry but the drones are out of control or i cant drive them ! I cant destroy mortary fire points No good mission for me.

@BlackFox, if you heard my voice, you would of heard a agreeable and positive tone, thats the problem with text!!

Bendy you are not here to give me orders. Phrase "yeah this needs to be fixed." has no place in comments in willing to address.
I suggest either changing tone or not posting any comments. It's my choice what I'm doing with my time.

@BlackFox yeah this needs to be fixed. Basically if I issue the squad a "Disembark" command just before the heli lands, then its fine, but if I do it too early, then the heli lands before the designated waypoint. if I give the "Disembark" command after I get out myself, then the heli takes off before all are disembarked, and squad units fall to their death (about 50% of the time).
I know there are plenty of missions in the workshop that won't allow a heli to take off until all units have disembarked. Surely its not too difficult to fix this?

I used the "get out" command, and then "disembark" for the squad, and the helicopter took off before all squad had disembarked, so they were falling to their death

Bendy did this happen when you jumped from the helicopter as it just touched down or immediately before that?

Because in that cases pilot will take off as per Arma behaviour.

sometimes the helicopter leaves before all the squad gets off......and then some get off while its leaving and fall to their death.....

Thesroth , it saddens me to hear but that's okay. I don't expect any one to like everything I publish on Workshop. :>
