it does work though
Nothing Silver said was untrue. Most, if not all, animals on earth have some sort of dimorphism between the genders so it is to be assumed that if we found life outside of earth, they'd show it too. To your point about the mods that add dimorphism to the gender, all of them changed the mammalian races. Making females smaller, changing the shapes of there heards, removing the mane from the cats etc. All reasonable changes to mammal-like creatures and not really making them "sexier". Having alien-looking dimorphism would require the creature portraits to be "Alien" which they are not, which is a fault in the game not the mods that add dimorphism.

Actually, sexual dimorphism doesn't obey to the same rules for all species. You're talking about examples that suit your case, but in other cases the female will be the bigger and more aggressive ones.
So far, all sexual dimorphism mods don't change the male version and create a "sexier" looking female. Yes they do correspond to human perception of gender. While this is a common trope in scifi, pretending that those portrays obey to natural laws is stupid. They obey to our human conception of sexual dimorphism. And this is also exactly why dimorphism mods are made for the most human-like species.
I like those mods but I'd like some more alien-looking dimorphism too.
Also, those are not "human perceptions of gender", those are the REALITIES of gender. Equality is NOT sameness. Human men and women are of equal value but very different, whether you like it or not. Deal with it.
Like father and his son.
At least we have modders such as you to fix it in your own time.
I am one of those people.
