I've tested this mod for quite some time, and I find it makes combat and looting a lot of fun. I don't have to get "Skill B" because "Skill A" is the prerequisite that sparks a combo. Then there are the modifiers that start you off with one skill for a set amount of time, those are also great. I haven't run into any issues as of late, many, if not, all modifiers seem to be working as intended.

Definitely keeping this one loaded in. :steamthumbsup:

Yeah, I followed the comments up until this point. It's really sad, because this mod added so much potential for a fun playthrough. I have to give you credit though. You keep trying to help people as best as you can. Thank you for your comment.

And like I said, the support for this mod is dead. The other problem is, disabling this mod could cause issues with your saves. (or even stop the said save for loading)

Continue to use the mod if you want, Im not stopping you. But I just think people shouldn't use the mod period, as problems like this will continue to be reported. and the mod author will no longer reply to any technical issues with this mod, or attempt to fix them.

No, that doesn't sound normal at all. But this is the reason I keep on trying to post here. The mod never worked correctly when the mod author added it. It had unexpected side effects that the author didn't or couldn't fix.

that was a long time ago, several years. since then. the mod has had zero support from the mod author, so this mod is in effect dead. What is more, the core game has been updated several times since the mod's last update. And it's not a good idea to use mods that are that outdated. some games will allow old mods to work. (depends on what the mod changes/ enhances)

The problem I think with this mod, it addas a lot of stuff that the mod author couldn't predict what would happen. So the effects that you describe Joseph Belmont, sounds like another bad side effect of a mod that no longer works correctly.

I encountered an issue but I don't know if this is intended by the author. Ther vendor from he Spectre class by Odinblade sells necormancer weapons that sets bleeding 50% chance and whipelash. The problem is that I'm the one getting those effect, which means I bleed 50% of the time and get whiplash instead of the enemies. Is this normal?

Considering that the mod auother hasn't updated the mod in ages, and considering that many people have reported problems about the compatability of the mod. Also that the mod author hasn't responded to any comments about this mod, or fixed any issues regarding the mod since

You can check that yourself. Even when I ran the mod, I kept running into a lot of issues. stuff that the mod author didn't fix. If the mod author did comment more recently, or fixed the glaring issues, then I would be ok with that. But this mod is broken, and with the recent game updates, probably more broken. which is why I suggest people don't use it, because this mod is no longer supported in anyway by the mod author.

This mod is dead, I would advise anyone not to use it. as the mod author hasn't updated it in years.

Took me a while to pinpoint it back to this mod, but specific weapon modifiers will crash your game if they overlap with environment items. A couple cases that I tested:
- Chance to set mad on a wand hitting a brazier crashed the game.
- Chance to heal on a battle stomp hitting a warp stone crashed the game.

In both these situations the game would say 'The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.', which made me think it was an issue with antivirus/running the program as admin. Hope this helps anyone looking to download.

Mod works great! No crashes like others reported (though you can't be expected to support all load orders, obviously!) but I have noticed an occasional "Immune to..." and it's blank. Usually this is like "Immune to silence" or "Immune to Stun", but it's just blank. Other than that, great mod!

I was trying to figure this out too. Did you ever figure it out? because right now I'm having a lot of crashing issues and I suspect this mod is part of the issue so until it's figured out i'm just going to remove it because it's causing headaches I'd rather not have lol awesome when it works tho!

Did a little testing with the summoner variety abilities, the show up if you summon your pet before entering combat, they dont show up when you summon him in combat

As its been already pointed out, the mod author hasn't updated this mod in ages. And I douby it will ever be updated again. There been a lot of issues in the past with this mod. Even when I used it. stuff not triggering, or working right.

best advice, uninstall it and forget about it. Or if you do continue to use it, then ignore the problems.

I love the mod, but it seems to negate any of the summoner loot variety abilities. They do not trigger when in combat. Any suggestions? Has there been a fix for this? I'm hosting a 4 player game and everyone's equipment works but one guy. To say the least, he feels sad and left out, lol.

had to take this off, its too useless to even consider... if it ADDED the new bonuses to items instead of replacing the existing stat rolls that you would get it would be much MUCH better. early game this mod is fun, early/mid act2 you start to feel missing all the gear stat buffs especially in tactician mode

@Fixx101: a little dramatic don't you think? Like I said, some items can have useless bonuses (very rarely) but they do not break the game in any way.
IT adds more flair and excitement when finding loot anyways.

ReasoN: It's not currently in a good state with the present game version, a few issues as reported below. I encourage anyone else to thumbs-down and unsubscribe if they experience issues, so as to remove/hide it from the top mods until, or if it ever sees a return with an update.

Like I said, I dont think the author of the mod is really supporting this mod anymore, he last commented on the 15 Oct, 2018, so I think he has given up on supporting this. Best advice is to uninstall the mod, or live with the issues.

I dont think this mod is getting much support, not played the game in a while, but when I used this mod, I had a lot of issues with it. I think its about time, the mod has reached it end of life and should be removed from the workshop.

Due to there being much more possible buffs on items, when I get lucky I find one with 5+ buffs, and it has a description scaling up my screen rendering me unable to see the damage or armor.

There are some weird things in the mod, for example: recover 1 ap by casting Freezing touch...there is no such spell in the game, it's from DOS1. And there are several spells/skills like that... Its a bug or you need to use mods to compliment this one?

Cool mod in theory, but the majority of item effects don't seem to work at all. I've only had a few pieces of gear actually do what they say they will.

A few examples..

Set Horned Boots: Start combat with 1 turn of Horns - doesn't work at all

Set Acid Arrow: Poison Dart applies acid for 3 turns - actually applies poison instead of acid

Set Cryoshell: Magicshell applies Cryotherapy - doesn't work at all

The only effect I've actually seen work consistently is a set that started combat with invisibility.

I've noticed that "Incarnate" skill bonuses do not work unless the incarnate was summoned before combat started. Is this intended? It does start combat once it has been summoned as well.

ive moved this to the top and bottom of my load order but after about 10 hrs, no matter what, half the skills flat out stop working such as the global cooling at start of battle. ive even reduced my overall number of mods but cant find the conflict as i have no mods that affect equipment in any way

I'm playing with a varierty of mods at the moment, but the one that might be causing troubles is possibly this one. For example, on the sword of my Berserker class Ifan (Berserker custom class, has some issues as well where AoE spells often hit my allies too) is a buff that has a 20% chance to cause 'sleeping'. Now I always assume that means when I hit an enemy, there's a 20% chance that the enemy will get the sleep status. However, I just cast an AoE buff spell (granted, it's from that Berserker class again, so it might be that that mod is the issue instead, or maybe a combination of yours with that one) and that spell caused 2 of my characters to get the sleep buff instead. This was supposed to be a skill that buffed them positively, yet the sleep status from Ifan's sword was applied on my allies...

If your primarily using mod classes/skills, this mod isn't relevant because most of the gear and jewelry are vanilla skill specific
