Actually, STNC_exploration_events.2102 might get you started early so long as you have seen either the Delta Volanis Cluster or the Khazan Cluster.

Angryangelone - there's not really a command to do that, but from memory there is a flag to make it very likely to trigger. I'll have a look when home.

Derp - yes, broken at the moment hoping for PDS to fix something to make it work again.

Is the auto retire for ship designs broken? I'm on year 2268 of the normal United Earth and no ship design has ever auto retired when it is set to do so i've had to manualy retire designs i wasn't using just to clear up my ship list.

@Osmaj My guess is that you either didn't create a playlist with the mod in it, or forgot to switch the active playlist to the one with the mod in it.

So I believe the latest Stellaris patch may break something related to districts. I'm on holiday until Monday and so can't patch anything. It might be worth reverting to 4.0.16 until
Can you see anywhere when the status of the federation's vassals changes? If not, a tooltip like the one where you integrate a country into the federation would be cool.

Osman - sounds like a launcher problem. If you don't see the new loading screens then you don't have the mod running.

Wumpus - if you're 100% on current versions of the mod and Stellaris, try removing your custom empires. In some situations the default planet types defined in modded empires can cause a crash if you load them in a mod that doesn't that planet type.

Grayhorse - you'll join as a member world, but get an option to run an agenda to move the capital to your own in order to take control of the UFP.

Caris - probably not 100%, we make substantial UI changes.

Question.....I am playing a game now as the Romulans to try out a new race. I am actually friendly with the Federation and they want me to join them. What happens if I do so, do I take control of the Federation or does the game end because I started as the Romulans?

JSeward, that is because you do not have the current version of the mod. That issue was fixed a while back, but either Steam hasn't updated the mod for you, or you're not playing on the latest version of Stellaris.

This mod is currently unplayable. Upon the completion of the first day of starting a new game, an event window with no text pops up and pauses the game and is not possible to remove, and more windows will pop up with every day that passes. I have the most up to date version of Stellaris with all DLCs and the most up to date version of this mod. This issue is not fixed.

Nacz - no, we use static maps with specific empire placements. Custom empires would break how that works, but you can use the edit function at your own risk on an existing one (ALT+E).

Pepperst / Live_and_Drink - this has been fixed a few days ago, but you'll be seeing it if you either don't have the latest version of the mod or Stellaris. Given how bad the launcher is at keeping mods up to date...


Theonlysaneman - we use bespoke ship icons for different species. Can you share a screen of them being squashed? I suspect you're just looking at the intended icons for a given shipset.

Found another bug, at least for the federation, not tested on other races yet. The asecendancy perks that add diplomats such as peace in our time and shared destiny(both of which should give envoys), are not in fact giving envoys. While its not game breaking, for the federation that deals with diplomacy, this is rough.

FYI the latest Stellaris patch might cause a constant event window prompt in games. I'm not at my PC right now but will try and get a fix out when home tonight.

I experienced an issue where I selected a random medium map, but fewer than expected empires spawned. I also found the capitals of the Romulans and Dominion, but their empires never spawned in game. An odd issue and definitely not in 3.14.

I'm having the same problem as Seik below, the mod is listed as only being 1.09gb and everytime I play the empire I chose is the only one in the map, there's only pirates and random hostile NPCs, gonna try re-installing again but any other advice would help

Bug: Game does not start with all Mayor [!] Powers when selecting 110 minor Powers.
Playing on Large map of entire Galaxy as Romulans. One time I wanted to find to Borg, just to find that "Unimatrix" was a normal star system, colonized by some other Power (Krenim). No Unimatrix Complex anywhere. Restarted the game. This time Klingons did not start, there is a Quonos System, but it only consists of barren worlds and asteroid belts. Penthe System exists, but has no Klingon Colony. Most weired: This time the Borg started correctly. So data for the setup must be there...

Should give you some research I thought. We kind of disable most techs from being salvageable as an ooooold design decision. But maybe will review that.

Ok, so ive been messing with the mod. So far everything has been going good, but I got 3 debris fields to analyze. Killed some crystaline forces. When I do the analyze of the debris, when its complete, nada happens. No tech, no research, nada. Is this broken?

I figured it out today. Apparently when I redownloaded your mod, had some corrupted files. I have it working now. Thanks for the response though. I had a time getting it to reverify your mod though. The game yes, but it wouldnt go into the workshop content. Had to rename the mod folder to something else and then change it back and then it did integrity checks on all the mods.

Seik - I had to do the same before my current play. I haven't had to reinstall Stellaris since I got this PC over a year ago but for some reason this mod and only this mod refused to work. Verifying game files, cleaning folders nothing worked. Reinstalling was the only solution. I have noticed odd issues with the Steam Workshop in the past 6-12 months where patches/updates don't match up with when they download at all. Sometimes they are off by a day or two no matter what you do. I wonder if that desync eventually caused this. /shrug

Seiko - Weird, the mod is nearly 10gb. Never seen that before. Maybe keep subscribed and wait for one of our regular updates to trigger too?

Downloaded the MOD several times, but every time I can't activate the MOD: missing mod description file.

In the MOD Manager, the MOD is only 1.09 GB in size, even though the download was 3.1 GB each time.

No other MOD is installed, and I've even manually deleted some of the folders during the attempts. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

So, I just bought the new DLC. SO I figured I would try out the mod. I get a load delay at 50%, 84%, 89% and then a long delay at 100%. I try to start the mod and the game crashes. No other mods are installed other than this one. Any ideas walsh?

Anyone else having an issue with negative amenities? Playing UE, Earth is fine, Mars is OK, but my newest colony on Al Rijil is in bad shape. It's been a year since it was fully colonized and sitting at -900. The only building I can find that will give me amenities though are luxury residents.
