Yes. I could have done it in a less mean spirited way. The purpose is so players cannot cheese a second Idol by stealing then killing her. If you want an additional Idol you have to take the stat loss. Though I might remove the dialog option.

Only Animal Empathy would cause notable issue by giving you an extra talent. Sadly there's no way to turn off Giftbags once you've enabled them.

Yes. Though there are 10 or so descriptions which have changed since then. Most notably I revamped King of Flames and Storms since then. I can help point to the changes or update it myself eventually.

A russian friend of mine said the translation read like yoda on morphine. It's by far the worst version trying to translate from a latin based language. I wanted to get translations started but I also don't want to cause issues for players who can read multiple languages.

I might just remove them and leave the XML file link for anyone interested. I just don't think it'll happen. There's a ton of text in this mod. Anyways this is a temporary version without translation.

Not like this is THAT bad, but it is pretty confusing sometimes. It can use different words in russian to describe the same things, but in russian they also can mean different things and u cant really connect one thing to another that easily as if it would be normal translation. Dont know how to describe it better tbh :)
Thanks for the answer, i was trying to unpack it with Pack Explorer, but it didnt work for some reasons. Will try something different then

Pet Power inherently doesn't work with modded summons and Conflux summons are designed to not use them. I've not heard of any issues with the generic or Incarnate though.

Hah, is the AI translation that bad? You'd have to unpack the mod then move the English localization file into your language file then rename the file to that language and pack it back up. There's a lot of info on how to re-pack mods but it would revert if I update.

Hi i have some issue with summon infusion and pet power gift bag. once i use blood or oil infuse, i can't use any elemental infuse to change the summon element except between blood and oil.

@Kind-Billy I'm not familiar with that error. Turning mods off and on mid session isn't ideal. If you're creating new sessions the game might have just gotten confused. The Add-on makes stat entry and tooltip changes.

The duplicated skills in character creation using the Conflux Odin Library are known but harmless. Never really considered the recruiting preset additions since most players just use for Fort Joy mirror anyways.

I tested again if i OFF conflux Odin Libary everything work well IF i turn it one skill duplicated and when i leave game i got message about mod conflict and unacepteable Network game. I think Conflux Odin Libary somehow incompatibility for current version Conflux or something

Howdy Bro. You md is aweasome, but i wanna ask you some. I have Your mod (conflux) and i got Hotbar mod and i use Odinblade pack with recomended Conflux Libary (Odinmod core set in of course) Its good BUT when Odin seted in character creation menu Some spell icon doubled (Fire Eearth magic some Naturelment and thivery skill.
Also certain skill miss (Like trow dirt or maybe it was removed)
Everething lool good but that kind of stuff anoy me, maybe its load order i place confluxe above (Like it say then Odin core then Odin pack then Conflux Libary (Again like it say on mod page place conflux libary below Odionblade mods) and also i set small mod allowed choise class to companion but custom class on Conflux (Like Warden or Defender or Arcane archer) not present on NPC List but ALL Odin class presented

The bosses in this mod are really interesting, and the damage generated by attribute combinations is also very fun. I've become quite addicted to it recently. I'm really looking forward to updates with new bosses and skills, and I'm curious about what the developer has in mind next, which is why I'm asking this question.

That is a difficult question to answer. Why do you ask?
Players started asking about Living Armor when I made Elementalist so I thought I might make a skill version. There was always supposed to be one more boss fight. The editor not working anymore makes it slower to test any new boss scripts.

This mod was originally just a difficulty mode but 5 years later I'm still updating it.

Maybe I missed that, tried looking through the patch notes. The Google docs I believe is out of date as well as the spacebutler.wixsite page for conflux. It still lists some of the old talents hence my confusion

Stench was turned into Elusive in beta 5 years ago. The base function is still part of the talent though. You can actually tell the real early talents because they lack faded details in their pictures. 5 Star was changed to King of Storms on 12/11/2021 after multiple attempts to balance the original. Living Armor was changed to Elementalist more recently. It's the last talent. If needed I will tweak current ones though.

You can't actually make new talents in DOS2. One has to die so another can be born.

Since when did conflux remove the talents:i living armor, 5 star diner, all skilled up, stench.

Went to get living armor and 5 star today only to find them not on the list. Thought it was a conflict so i went through all my mods one by one until it was just conflux left, and after turning it off they came back.

Although living armor seems to be replaced by elementalist i think?

I checked my talents, just in case.

Character is human with talents Opportunist, Picture of health and Thaumaturgy warlord (plus human starting talents).
I had the two-handed sword that the minotaur drops during act 1 (conflux encounter) but I unequipped it (Unequipped all gear to test it, actually).

In any case it did not show any "resistance" our "immune". Those voidwoken usually stun or freeze you but nothing happened. I died in the end so I got another companion to resurrect me after that encounter.

King of Ice makes you immune to Frozen. That might be causing a quirk with their scripted web interaction. I'll check the encounter code. Kinda odd this is the first time hearing about it though. The Blood Rose option is already fixed pending an update.

I got to the cave where voidwoken capture you in act 2. For some reason my main character could not be stunned nor frozen. Nothing showed up. I had the Attar of the Blood Rose active (which was gone because they killed me even though I switched the option) but I don't know if that was the issue. I took my gear off to check but same result.

I see the issue. I deleted all the 5 Star Dinner statuses when I gave up trying to balance it. So it's using the original potion effect which can't be applied as a status.

Noticed that the keep blood rose even in death option resets every time i load into the game, have to keep summoning the npc and re-enabling the option

@limon letal This is a reasonable alternative. Originally my thoughts were to have Living Armor toggle between Magic and Physical but it was still not very interesting. I also question it's function when this mod relies on Vitality more than Armor for durability. It does help characters devote to wearing all plate or cloth armor but I have to watch for certain situations that would make it incredibly strong like Living on the Edge.

@Thielu Ah this.It's a rare bug that I've never been able to fully track down due a lack of information. I think it involves playing with Mask of the Shapeshifter. There's been an easy fix up for a while which simply resets the Breath type flags. Just load a save with this mod enabled. Make a different save then turn this mod off. so i came back to play with conflux recently and realized living armor had to go the way of the dodo in favour of elementalist now dont get me wrong elementalis is really cool but im wondering if it would be possible to turn living armor into a skill level 9 hydrosophist 3 1 ap 5 turn cd 3 turn duration 35 of healing into magic armor 13 meters range and can be casted on other people just a suggestion because living armor atached to a talent was prety bad but made into a skill you could have a guy use this in conbination with heals to restore magic armor in dont know how difficult it would be to implement but if its easy to implement and u like the idea we could have a geo version

Is it possible to drop difficulty mid play through? I am getting oh so spanked on strategist in Act 1, and gaining 1 level makes such a dramatic difference that I feel I have to navigate through the maps in a very rigid way.

Yea, I can't make new talents in the engine. I can only write over them and some have hard coded elements which can make that difficult. Living Armour and Executioner are two of them actually. I had to dig into the engine's Overhead Text function to prevent it from showing +0. I'd have to do the same for Executioner's Executed Overhead Text. I could break out the Divine Talents Giftbag and write over those but then players would probably want me to revamp all of them.

Lone Wolf is drastically reduced in bonuses. However the strongest portion of Lone Wold is simply getting double stats which is engine coded and would create a complete mess trying to write over. I'm sure you've seen/heard of the 255 stat bugs.

In the last update Living Armour had to die so Elementalist could be born. Only after I worked a week on it did a few people say "I use it sometimes". It's actually my first split talent because the AI is too stupid to make use of Elementalist so they retain Living Armour. It was that or Executioner.

I'll be showing up in BG3. My current concept is a side quest with lots of story and dialog. Much of it embracing evil characters outside Dark Urge since I felt that was lacking. I will have some classes but I don't plan to do a huge mechanic overhaul. I feel story is where BG3 can shine the most.

It was actually intentional because there's no poison spark skill so I was using the tweaks to fill in that spot while also not ruining the Sneaking rogue playstyle but I can see where Archers would like to use it as well or even when swapping weapons.

Not 100% sure but after updating the mod Venom Coating stopped working on bows/crossbows. Other weapons seem to be fine.
