Report a translation problem
I've noticed half of the sound effects are gone (e.g. chopping salad works, but money for serving a dish doesn't) but it's most likely one of the prerequisite mods at fault, since even when the menu was disabled the sound effects were broken anyway.
If yes, I can try that option out in multiplayer this weekend and fix it, if I find any issues.
This way, it would be more challenging when you have large amounts of coins already.
There's a minor bug in the way the game displays negative coin amounts that is fixed by having the mod installed (shows as "--5" instead of "-5" if you're the client, for example), but not having it doesn't affect the functionality.

I think displaying the cost is a really good idea, and I'll add it to my list, but I might not be able to get to it for a while. I think there are still issues getting custom views like that to work well (or at all) in multiplayer.
Updates include:
* Strike counter (used for progressive, exponential, and 3 strikes mode) should now get saved, so, if "Reset each day" is disabled, this progress will get loaded. After updating, the counter will be at zero for existing saves, but it should save any strikes that are made after the update. Thanks Sancho!
* The mod will now let the game handle patience normally for the first 3 days, since it gives you free restarts during those days. Thanks feildmaster!
The progressive/exponential strikes will restart when the game is exited. I think I might know the solution to persist it, but I'll have to try it out.
Updates include:
* Menu reorganized. "Progressive", "Exponential", "0", and "All" for lose coins have been moved to "Mode"
* When "Progressive" and "Exponential" are selected, the "lose coins" option will determine how many coins you lose initially (previously it was always 5)
* An option has been added to reset strikes each day. For progressive/exponential modes, this means you can have the penalties carry over between days. Changing modes mid-day without turning this back On and starting a new day (to clear strikes) might have unexpected results if switching to 3 strikes mode.
Note: The mod will try to migrate your current settings to the new format, but it might be a good idea to double-check before starting.

i included a fix for the bug you reported in this release. i left a comment on the github issue describing the issue and the current fix, but i'm open to other approaches for future releases. :)
you know, I almost added an exponential mode for fun at the same time as Philadelphus' mode, but I thought it might be too wild. I'll go ahead and add that. :)
